El Limonar school has long been concerned with our environment. We try to follow the 4 R's whenever we can - recycle, re-use, repair, and reduce. We are keen to share ideas with others, spread eco-awareness and actively help the environment.

Inspired at the Eden Project
Primary 6 students have visited the Eden Project in Cornwall three times now. Each time we have been inspired by the achievements of this great place.
This year (2010), despite the looming cloud from the Icelandic volcano, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience once again. We would love to re create some ideas we experienced
El Limonar inspired
The architect of El Limonar school,Murcia must have thought of the environmental he created. The buildings are wide spread, and as you walk up and down the shady pergolas, lemon trees, trailing roses, oleander, bougainvillea, mimosas and irises are just a few of the plants that you encounter as you walk. The walkway creates a sense of peace and calmness.
Environmental projects are important to us, not only to enrich the school, but also for our city laying in the valley below.
